PLEASE READ AND CHANGE ANYTHING YOU WANT - THIS IS BASIC INFO ABOUT BEING A VAMPIRE

undead creatures that use blood as their only source of sustenance

⤷ the primary way to be turned (from human to vampire) would be being bit by another vampire and drained of your blood

sires are essentially the vampire who bit you and turned you, but if you are newly-turned (e.g. fledgling) and are bitten, there is a high chance that the vampire would become your sire —— there are few cases where the vampire mentioned above doesn’t become your sire

⟶ another way to be turned is if you die and a black cat jumps over your corpse, although some believe that this is but a myth

covens are a community of vampires that a vampire belongs to — it is essentially your new family if you were to be sired by a coven member

⟶ while vampires are sensitive to sunlight, it is not to the point where you’ll dissolve into ashes if you step foot into it.

⤷ if you were to go outside in the daylight, some sort of cover is needed — this could be things such as long pants, long sleeves, gloves, socks, closed-toed shoes, and hats

⤷ even in this attire, it is recommended that you put on very protective sunscreen beforehand

⟶ after being bit, your canines will fall out a few days after, and your fangs will take months to a year to fully grow in

⤷ as your baby fangs grow, your teeth/gums will feel achy and you’ll feel a desire to bite

⤷ to soothe this irritation, you must chew on something firm — something that isn’t too hard, but isn’t too soft either

⤷ this could be anything firm, but most commonly, fledglings will chew on a coven member’s body part (ex. the junction between their neck and shoulder, their forearm, etc.)

⤷ it will not hurt them as your fangs aren’t sharp nor strong enough to actually do anything to them
